Odisha beat Haryana by 47 runs to register fourth win in five matches at the Nagesh Trophy 3rd National T20 Cricket Tournament for the Blind at Nirman Ground in Bangalore today. With this win, Odisha finished second in their group, behind Andhra Pradesh.

Notwithstanding their defeat at the hands of Andhra Pradesh in the third league match, Odisha have qualified for the quarterfinals, where they will take on Jharkhand at Sachin Tendulkar Ground in Bangalore on February 14.

Opting to bat against Haryana, Odisha were in a spot of bother, losing both the openers early. But a magnificent 68 by Sukhram Majhi and a spectacular 51 by Lal Prasad Soren enabled them muster a sizeable total of 192/10. Odisha captain Jafar Iqbal contributed an useful 26.

In reply, Haryana could make 145 for nine. Nakula Badanayak and Sukhram Majhi bowled beautifully for Odisha, bagging four and three wickets respectively. The splendid allround performance of Sukhram Majhi fetched him the man of the match prize for the third time in the ongoing tournament.
