Odisha Archery Association (OAA) is all set to organize the 22nd State Archery Championship at Barabati Stadium in Cuttack from 19 to 21 February, 2021. This was announced by OOA secretary Sradhananda Das at a press conference in Cuttack today.
Around 150 archers from 20 affiliated units would vie for honours in kids, mini, sub-junior, junior and senior categories for both male and female. The state championship would feature a total of 26 events in Indian, Recurve and Compound Rounds.
Almost all established archers along with a large number of new talents would be seen in action during the three-day state championship, which would also serve as the basis for selection of Odisha archers for different National championships.
OAA vice-presidents Rabi Patnaik, Sreedhar Das; joint-secretary Ganeswar Sethi, treasurer Sughose Das and executive committee members Samikhya Nanda Das, Hrudaya Ranjan Behera and Krushna Chandra Das were present in the presss conference.
