Odisha Purple and Odisha Red registered convincing wins in respective matches of the MGM Odisha Women T20 Cricket League (OWCL) at KIIT Cricket Ground in Bhubaneswar today. Odisha Red rode on a 42-run knock by captain Madhuri Meheta to beat Odisha Yellow by eight wickets.

This was the first win for Odisha Red and second defeat for Odisha Yellow. Madhuri was adjudged the woman of the match. An unbeaten knock of 55 by captain Sushree Dibyadarshini went in vain as Odisha Violet lost to Odisha Purple by six wickets in the second match today. This was the third win for Odisha Purple and second defeat for Odisha Violet.
