The prize distribution ceremony was graced by Cuttack Municipal Corporation Commissioner Ananya Das as chief guest and Sambad Group Managing Director Monika Nayyar Pattanaik as guest of honour. OSSTA secretary Rabindra Kumar Parida, vice-president Chitta Ranjan Mohanty and treasurer Nihar Ranjan Mishra were present on the occasion.
Earlier at the opening ceremony on January 24, tribute was paid to former state table tennis player and retired FCI official Late Mehtab Khan. Khan, who represented Odisha at the National Table Tennis Championship several times, passed away during Covid pandemic. Matches at the State championship were conducted by referees Sujit Ray, Jiban Ballav Samal, Bijan Das Mohapatra, KSN Murty, Kallol Ganguly and Surabhi Parija.
