Odisha Olympics Association (OOA) today passed its budget for the year 2020-21, which featured a surplus of Rs 3,06,692 with Rs 2,93,60,610 as income and Rs 2,90,53,918 as expenditure. The budged was passed in the Annual General Meeting of the apex sports body of the State, which was held at Barabati Stadium, Cuttack today.

Official announcement of results of the OOA elections was another major agenda of the AGM. As per announcement made by election officers Dr SR Parija, all office-bearers were elected uncontested for term of four years (2021-2025).

Kandhamal MP and KITT-KISS founder Dr Achyuta Samanta was felicitated at the AGM for becoming the president of Volleyball Federation of India and making notable contributions for development of sports in Odisha. Former OOA and Odisha Cricket Association (OCA) secretary Asirbad Behera was the major dignitary of the AGM.
