Anurag Thakur was today appointed as the new Minister of Youth Affairs & Sports in the Government of India. He replaced Kiren Rijiju, 16 days before Tokyo Olympic Games. Bengal BJP leader Nisith Pramanik was also appointed as the Minister of State for Youth Affairs and Sports. At the age of 35, Pramanik became the youngest minister in the cabinet.
