Odisha allround Sushil Kumar Barik has been selected for the BCCI U-19 Men Challenger Trophy One-Day Tournament, which is set to begin from the 3 November 2021 in Ahmedabad, Gujarat. According to Odisha Cricket Association, Barik would represent Team F.

A left-arm orthodox spinner and left-hand batsman, Barik put up notable performance in the Vinoo Mankad Trophy U-19 One-Day Tournament, bagging nine wickets and scoring 124 runs in five matches this month.

A native of Bhubaneswar, Barik earlier represented Odisha in East Zone Vijay Merchant Trophy U-16 Tournament. In the year 2017, he captured 21 wickets and scored 123 runs in four matches for the Odisha U-16 team.
