Manu Patricio has joined Odisha FC as their new goalkeeping coach ahead of the upcoming Indian Super League (ISL) 2021-22. Manu, who was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina, comes in with a good experience of being a goalkeeping coach of various teams in Spain including Espanyol de Barcelona.

He had also represented Real Sociedad and Osasuna as a goalkeeper earlier in his career. The previous Odisha FC goalkeeping coach Joaquin Valerio Olivera from Spain had to step down for personal reasons and returned to Spain due to a family emergency.

PARTNERSHIP WITH AVAI FUTEBOL CLUBE: On 5th November 2021, Odisha FC announced the finalisation of a strategic football and commercial partnership with Avai Futebol Clube of Brazil as a part of their global football alliance initiative.

This partnership will bring many benefits and opportunities to both the clubs and the countries, claimed Odisha FC in a press release. The primary objective is to strengthen footballing and commercial relationships in order to have mutual gains in their sporting and wider activities.
