Odisha Archery Association (OAA) today announced a 19-member State squad for the 40th Senior National (Men & Women) Archery Championship, which is scheduled to be held at Tatanagar, Jamshedpur, Jharkhand from 1 to 10 October 2021. The squad is comprised of 12 male and seven female archers.

According to OAA Secretary Sampurnananda Das, archers of the State squad will leave for Jamshedpur in three batches along with respective managers and coaches. In the first batch, eight archers of Indian Round left tonight. They were given a warm send-off by OAA office-bearers at Barabati Stadium, Cuttack.

The second batch of four male and three female arches for Compound Round would depart on October 3. The third and batch of four male competitors for Recurve Round would start their journey on October 6.

COMPOUND ROUND: Men: Dibyaranjan Munda (Bolangir District Archery Association), Bhakar Khilo (SAI-HAL, Sunabeda), Rahul Madkami (Sports Hostel, Mankangiri), Erma Padiami (KISS, Bhubaneswar). Women: Priti Oram, Golap Naik (both SAI, Sundargarh), Namsi Munda (Cuttack District Archery Association). Manager: Bishnu Charan Das, Coach: Bhagatram Naik.
