  AITA titles for Kabir, Aradhyaa and Krishna

Three players from Odisha bagged four titles in different All India Tennis Association (AITA) tournaments today. Among the three, Aradhyaa Verma bagged a treble in the Championship Series Tennis Tournament in Rohtak, Haryana, winning two titles in U-14 and U-16 singles, and one in U-16 doubles with her Academy-mate Krishna Raj.

Earlier in the day, Odisha No 1 Kabir Hans was crowned doubles champion in the AITA Mens 1 Lac Tournament at Accelerate Tennis Academy in Gurugram, Haryana with Deepender Grewal from Haryana as his partner.

Kabir and Deepender eat Delhi-UP combination of Sarthak Suden and Maan Kesharwani in the hard-fought final 7-5, 3-6, 10-8.
 

Both Aradhyaa and Krishna belong to Bhubaneswar-based Farhan Tennis Academy and train under the guidance of coach, Syed Farhan Ali. They captured the three titles at Hawk Tennis Academy in Rohtak.

Aradhyaa secured the U-14 singles crown, defeating Krishna Raj 6-3, 6-1 in the final. She emerged U-16 singles champion with a 6-3, 6-0 win over Sara S of Haryana.

In the U-16 doubles final, Bhubaneswar school students Aradhyaa and Krishna trounced Haryana opponents Sara S and Bhakti Sharma 6-0, 6-0.
