Top seed Bhagat settled for the mens SL3 singles silver medal after losing to second seed Daniel Bethell of Englad in the final 9-21, 13-21. With this win Bethell avenged the defeat he suffered against Bhagat at the Tokyo Paralympic Games.

In SL3-SU5 mixed doubles, Bhagat and Kohli settled for bronze after they were beaten by Indian opponents Rughick Ragupathi and Manasi Girishchandra Joshi 17-21, 17-21.

Bhagat also competed in mens SL3-SL4 doubles with Manoj Sarkar. But the duo bowed out at the group stage, winning one and losing two matches. However, according to Sports Authority of India (SAI), Bhagat and Sarkar secured silver medal in this event.

According to Paralympic Committee of India (PCI), the Indian squad bagged a total of 21 medals in this Spanish Level-1 tournament. The 20 medals include six gold, seven silver and eight bronze.
