With two medals today, host Odisha has secured a total of three medals in the ongoing championship. Earlier, Muna Nayak bagged the first medal, pocketing one silver in senior men 61kg inter-state section yesterday.

Besides, Jhilli and Sneha, five more lifters performed for Odisha in respective groups today. Among them, Meena Santa B finished fifth in youth women 49kg category with a total lift of 130 kg (snatch 61kg, clean & jerk 69kg).

Also competing in youth women 49kg category Ranjita Majhi finished last and without rank. In snatch, all of her three lifts were declared no lift. Thereafter she did not compete in clean & jerk.

In junior women 49kg class, Sandhya Rani Nayak claimed 10th position with efforts of 58kg in snatch and 81kg in clean & jerk for a total of 139kg. There were two competitors from Odisha in women 55kg category.

Of the two, Meena Santa A finished sixth in youth section with a total lift of 145kg, which included 67kg in snatch and 78kg in clean & jerk, while Pramila Krisani secured seventh position in senior category, lifting 72kg in snath and 90kg in clean & jerk for a total of 162kg.
