Dazzling allround performance by Prayash K Singh powered Nuapada to an eight-run win over Paradeep in their Silver Group match of the Kalahandi Cup Senior Men Inter-District Cricket Tournament at Ravenshaw University Ground-1 in Cuttack today.
Prayash scored 83 runs and bagged five wickets for 28 runs to be adjudged the Player of the Match. Kenerapara and Kandhamal posted wins in two other matches of the day in the bottom group of the tournament.
Kendrapara rode on an unbeaten century by Ritesh K Pandey to drub Nabarangpur by 111 runs, while Kandhamal got the better of Gajapati by two wickets.
