High-flying Odisha rode on a fine knock of 66 by Madhuri Meheta to beat formidable Haryana by 13 runs in the quarter-finals of their Senior Womens National T20 Cricket Tournament at Lalbhai Contractor Stadium in Surat, Gujarat today.

Put into bat by Haryana captain Shafali Verma, Odisha compiled a competitive total of 151 for six and then restricted the opposition to 138 for eight. Odisha top scorer Madhuri faced 55 balls for her 66, which included eight boundaries.

Among other Odisha batters, Pragyan Paramita Mohanty and Kajal Jena contributed 30 and 22 runs respectively. Sujata Mallik and Rasanara Parwin stood out among Odisha bowler, picking up two wickets each.

This was the sixth win a row for Odisha in the ongoing tournament and they will take on mighty Railways in the semifinals on May 2.
