Odisha sportspersons bagged two medals in the ongoing 2nd Khelo India University Games (KIUG) in Bengaluru today with double Olympian Dutee Chand retaining the womens 100m gold medal for KIIT Deemed to be University, Bhubaneswar and Pragyan Prasanti Sahu winning womens 400m hurdles silver medal for Lovely Professional University, Phagwara, Punjab.
Sprint star Dutee, who had claimed the 100m gold at the first edition of the KIUG in Bhubaneswar in 2020, won it again with timing of 11.68 second. Avantika (Savitribai Phule Pune University) and Preeti (Guru Jambheshwar University of Sci & Tech, Hisar) settled for silver and bronze respectively.
