Puri emerged Silver Group champions in the Kalahandi Cup Senior Men Inter-District Cricket Tournament, trouncing Kendrapara by 93 runs in the Qualifier at Ravenshaw University Ground-1 in Cuttack today. Shakti Swarup Dash and Dibyajyoti Rath played major roles in the Puri win, bagging four wickets and scoring a half-century respectively.

Being the Silver Group champions, Puri qualified to take on Gold Group runners-up Balasore in the Eliminator at Ravenshaw University Ground-1, Cuttack on May 6. The winner of the Eliminator will join five teams in the Super League.

Bhubaneswar-A, East Coast Railway, Cuttack-A, Jharsuguda and Bhadrak have already qualified for the Super League Stage from Diamond and Gold groups.
