In their three league matches, HAO thrashed Hockey Rajathan 5-0, Le Puducherry Hockey 9-0 and Dadra & Nagar Haveli and Daman & Diu Hockey 5-1. Paulus Lakra was top scorer for HAO with six goals from three matches. He scored all of his six goals against Le Puducherry Hockey.
Led by Laban Lugun, the 18-member HAO team was given a warm send-off earlier on May 16. Odisha Sports & Youth Services Department Joint-Secretary Sailendra Jena and Hockey Association of Odisha General Secretary Sanatana Sahu interacted with the players and wished them all success.
