An unbeaten 141 by Ramachandra Behera powered Cuttack-A to a five-wicket win over Bhubaneswar-B in their Diamond Group match of the Kalahandi Cup Senior Men Inter-District Cricket Tournament at Sunshine Ground in Cuttack today.

East Coast Railway (ECoRSA) beat Cuttack-B by 30 runs, Sundargarh got the better of Sambalpur by 68 runs, Bhubaneswar-A prevailed over Khordha by eight wickets, Jharsuguda defeated Jajpur by two wickets and Rourkela edged out Mayurbhanj by 19 runs in five other matches of the day.

Jayanta Behera bagged seven wickets for 13 runs to star in the ECoRSA win. Govinda Poddar guided Sundargarh to victory with a notable knock of 86 and three wickets for 36 runs. Kartik Biswal also displayed fine allround performace for Bhubaneswar-A, capturing three wickets and hitting an unbeaten half-century.

But an unbeaten hundred by Nishikanta Rout went in vain as Jajpur went down fighting to Jharsuguda for whom Tarani Sa scalped four wickets. Similarly an unconquered 104 by Abhigyan Mohanty could not save Mayurbhanj from losing to Rourkela for whom Subhankar Biswas slammed 99.
