Double Olympian Dutee Chand will lead a 21-member squad of Bhubaneswar-based Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology (KIIT) in the 2nd Khelo India University Games (KIUG), which is scheduled to be held at Jain University, Bangalore from 24 April to 2 May 2022.

The squad will be accompanied by six support staff. KIIT Deemed to be University would be participating in five disciplines _ Athletics (Women), Tennis (Men), Yogasana (Women) and Weightlifting (Men & Women).

Weightlifting  Women: Sneha Soren, Ranjita Majhi (both 49kg category), Moti Jani, Aparajita Bhuyan (both 59kg), M Keerthi (76kg), Abhishiktha Kaduluri (81k). Coach: Lucky Rani Patra.
Weightlifting  Men: Kumbheswar Mallik (55kg), Sachin Rauta (67kg), Punit Chandra Sahu (96kg). Coach: Subhakanta Mallia.
Tennis Men: Kabir Hans, Ashish Kumar Parida, Justin Kashuiguang Panmei. Coach: Md Anamul Haque.
Yogasana Women: Recky Prava Ray, Mamata Bhue, Sabita Ghorai, Karmy Hansda, Juli Nayak, Duleswari Majhi. Coach: Dr Sanjay Panda.
