Odsha Naval Tata Hockey High Performance Centre won the bronze medal in the 1st Hockey India Junior Women Academy National Championship, defeating Khalsa Hockey Academy (Amritsar) 5-1 in the 3rd/4th-place match at Kalinga Hockey Stadium in Bhubaneswar today.
Led by Jyoti Chhatri, the 18-member Odisha Naval Tatal HPC team had to play the 3rd/4th-place match after losing to SAI Academy 0-6 in the semifinals. The Odisha HPC team reached the semifinals, winning their two group league matches against Bhai Behlo Hockey Academy Bhagta 9-0, Mumbai Schools Sports Association 19-0 and the quarterfinal against Har Hockey Academy 2-1.
SAI Academy won the gold medal, defeating Madhya Pradesh Hockey Academy 2-1 in the final match. The tournament was held from 17 to 26 March 2021.

23 March (QF): Odsha Naval Tata Hockey HPC (Nikita Toppo 1-PC, Kamla Singh 27-FG) beat Har Hockey Academy (Tannu 15-FG) 2-1.
25 March (SF): Odsha Naval Tata Hockey HPC lost to SAI Academy (Sanjna Horo 5-PC, 34-FG; Poonam Mundu 19-FG, 47-FG; Hina Bano 20-FG, Bhavani Madugula 58-FG) 0-6.
26 March (Bronze medal match): Odsha Naval Tata Hockey HPC (Jyoti Chhatri 21-PC, 48-PC; Tanu Kishan 28-FG, 38-FG; Kamla Singh 31-PC) beat Khalsa Hockey Academy Amritsar (Taranpreet Kaur 17-FG) 5-1.
26 March (Final match): SAI Academy beat Madhya Pradesh Hockey Academy 2-1.
