Indian judokas bagged two medals on the fourth day of the 22nd Commonwealth Games (CWG) with Shushila Devi Likmabam winning silver and Vijay Kumar Yadav securing bronze in in Birmingham, England yesterday.
Shushila Devi picked up her second career CWG silver in women 48kg division, while Vijay Kumar Yadav won the bronze in men 60kg division to give India two medals in judo on the day.
These were first medals for India outside the six medals in weightlifting that they have won so far at the Birmingham 2022 CWG, including three gold. With three gold, three silver and two bronze, India is currently placed sixth on the medal tally.
