Puri District and Club the Entertainer of Cuttack won the boys and girls titles respectively in the Odisha State Sub-Junior (U-13) Basketball Championship which concluded at Jawaharlal Indoor Stadium in Cuttack today. The champion teams received the Xaviers Cup.

In the finals, Puri boys beat Troters Club of Cuttack by 48-30 points, while Club the Entertainer girls defeated Puri 34-22 points. The four-day championship was organised by Cuttack Basketball Association (CBA), under the auspices of Odisha Basketball Association (OBA).

Odisha Athletics Association President G Srinibas Patnaik graced the presentation ceremony as chief guest. St Xaviers Group of Schools Director PC Mohanty, Principal Priyadarshi Nayak, OBA President Gyana Ranjan Parida and Secretary Ashok Kumar Sahu and CBA Secretary Ashok Kumar Sahoo were present on the occasion.
