  OCA U-19 Cricket: Chhatri haul sinks Rayagada

Balasore, Rourkela, Mayurbhanj and Kendrapara posted wins in respective preliminary league matches of the OCA U-19 Inter-District Cricket Tournament at different grounds in Cuttack today. Manas Patra was the architect of the Balasore win, bagging four wickets and scoring 23 runs.

Amazing haul of four wickets for five runs by Kishor Chhatri propelled Rourkela to a 131-run win over Rayagada. Kendrapara beat Bargarh by eight wickets while Mayurbhanj got the better of Sonepur by five wickets.

14 September 2022 (Match 82: Ravenshaw Ground-2, Cuttack): Boudh 65/10 in 24.2 overs (Prem Mohapatra 28; Manas Patra 4/18, Ommkar Dwibedy 3/9, Asutosh Marndi 2/19) lost to Balasore 66/7 in 12 overs (Manas Patra 23; Sobhandev Behera 6/35) by 3 wickets. PoM: Manas Patra.

14 September 2022 (Match 85: Bidanasi Ground, Cuttack): Rourkela 189/10 in 42 overs (Reetesh Padhi 67, Sujal Singh 24, Swoop Bhuyan 22, Bittu Roy 20; Siddharth Pattnaik 4/19, GPurna Bhaskar 3/19, Kunal Verma 3/38) beat Rayagada 58/10 in 27 overs (Kishor Chhatri 4/5, Aman Sonkar 4/23) by 131 runs. 14 September 2022 (Match 89: Ravenshaw Ground-1, Cuttack): Bargarh 68/10 in 31.5 overs (Debaraj Sahu 26; Rakesh Das 3/19, Krishna Mohanty 2/5, Soumitra Biswal 2/21, Ansuman Das 2/21) lost to Kendrapara 69/2 in 14.1 overs (Soumitra Biswal*) by 8 wickets. PoM: Rakesh Das.

14 September 2022 (Match 90: Nimpur Ground, Cuttack): Sonepur 56/10 in 17 overs (Hansraj Sahu 3/17, Surai Hembram 2/1, Aniket Parida 2/9, Md A Raza 2/15) lost to Mayurbhanj 57/5 in 12.4 overs (Rohan Pritt 3/23) by 5 wickets. PoM: Md A Raza.
