A seven-wicket haul by Sibun Nanda powered Ganjam to a thumping nine-wicket win over Nabarangpur in their preliminary league match of the OCA U-16 Inter-District Cricket Tournament at Bidanasi Ground in Cuttack today. Bargarh, Cuttack-B, Angul, Sambalpur, Bhubaneswar-B and Puri posted wins in six other matches of the day.
Balangir allrounder Samarpeet Patel was another star performer of the day. He slammed an unbeaten 116 and picked up two wickets to steer his team to a one-wicket win over Sambalpur.
