The bronze medal in the 100m event was also secured by fellow Indian athlete Keerti Chauhan with a timing of 13.94 seconds, while Agata Krzywdzinska (Poland) bagged the gold medal, clocking  13.58 seconds.

The IWAS World Games was organised by International Wheelchair and Amputee Sports Federation (IWAS). It is a biennial event featuring multiple sports, aiming to give aspiring athletes with physical impairments their first taste of international competition and older athletes the chance to continue competing.

Around 300 athletes from 30 countries joined the IWAS World Games. Jayanti was the only athlete from Odisha, representing India in this World Games. She was accompanied by her coach Bishnu Prasad Mishra
