Odisha Cricket Association (OCA) announced a 17-member State Senior Men squad for the first two Elite Group-A matches of the Ranji Trophy Championship 2022-23 to be played against Baroda and Uttarakhand. Subhranshu Senapati has been named as the captain of the team.

Odisha will play their opening match against Baroda at Vikash Cricket Ground in Bhubaneswar from 13 to 16 December 2022 and the second against Uttarakhand at Highlanders Sports Academy, Kashipur, Uttarakhand from 20 to 23 December 2022.

Swastik Samal, Tarini Sa, Kartik Biswsal and Saurabh Kanojia have been selected in the Odisha team as new faces. A total of 38     teams would compete in the Ranji Trophy Championship for the season 2022-23.

Rashmi Ranjan Parida, the Head Coach of OCA Academy, will accompany the Team as Batting Coach. Other five teams in Elite Group-A are: Bengal, Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh and Nagaland.
