His two-year contract was supposed to end in June 2024. But Odisha FC did not disclose the reason behind the early termination of his contract. Gombau was in charge of Odisha FC in the 2019-20 season. He was also their manager in the very first year of the club.

OFC SIGNS BRAZILIAN CYNTHIA FOR IWL: On 20 February 2023, Odisha FC signed Cynthia Marcondes dos Santos for the upcoming Indian Womens League (IWL) season. Cynthia is from Sao Paulo in Brazil and has played the entirety of her career in domestic leagues in the country. She will become the first Brazilian woman to play in the Indian Womens League tournament, scheduled for April and May 2023.

DELGADO CONTACT EXTENDED TILL 2024: On 20 February 2023, Odisha FC extended the contract of their captain Carlos Delgado till 2024. A formidable center-back, Delgado has been a rock for Odisha FC since joining the club in the 2019-2020 season.
