Host Indian defeated defending champions Korea 3-2 in a thrilling encounter of the 7th Mens Asian Champions Trophy Hockey Tournament at the Mayor Radhakrishnan Stadium in Chennai, Tamil Nadu today. With this win, their third in four matches, India consolidated their position at the top of the points table.
Malaysia edged out Asian Games champions Japan 3-1, while Pakistan registered a hard-earned 2-1 over China in two other matches of the day. India will play their fifth and last league match against arch rivals Pakistan tomorrow.
