Four players from Odisha have been selected to represent Indian teams in the Asian Hockey 5s World Cup Qualifier to be held in Salalah, Oman from 25 August to 2 September 2023. Of the four Odisha players, Dipsan Tirkey will turn up for Indian Mens Team, while Mariana Kujur, Ajmina Kujur and Dipi Monika Toppo will play for Indian Womens Team.
The mens tournament will take place from August 29 to September 2, while the womens even will be held from August 25 to 28. The mens team will be captained by Mandeep Mor and Mohd Raheel Moudeen will shoulder the responsibility of the vice-captain.
