  Khordha crowned State shooting champion with 11 gold

Khordha emerged team champions with 11 gold medals at the 12th Odisha State Shooting Chamionship, which was organised by Orissa Rifle Association (ORA) at Utkal Karata Schoo and Kalinga Stadium shooting ranges in Bhubaneswar from 20 to 23 July 2023.

Angul and Cuttack finished first and second runners-up with four and two yellow metals respectively. Bhubaneswar Central MLA Ananta Narayan Jena attended the closing ceremony and presented the medals.

 

ORA vice-presidents Romeokanta Nanda, Chitta Ranjan Swain, secretary Dr Hari Prasad Pattanayak, joint-secretary Balabhadra Das, assistant secretary Asish Kumar Nayak, treasurer Gouri Mohanty were present at the presentation ceremony.

Junior Men: 10m Air Rifle (ISSF):

Master Men: 10m Air Rifle (NR): 1. Ashutosh Nanda (Khordha). 10m Air Pistol (NR): 1. Dilip Kumar Padhi (Ganjam), 2. Paresh Kumar Sarangi (Angul), 3.
