Odisha narrowly missed two medals as Mannata Mishra and Divyanka Dibyajyoti Pradhan finished fourth and fifth respectively in women 200m breaststroke.

Shristi originally hails from Kolkata, West Bengal and trains at Odisha-JSW Swimming High Performance Centre, Kalinga Stadium, Bhubaneswar.

Shristi represented Odisha in the 75th Senior National Aquatic Championship in Guwahati, Assam last year. Making a memorable international debut earlier this year, she won three bronze medals at the Thailand Age-Group Swimming Championship in Bangkok.

Shristi has established herself as the best female swimmer of Odisha by emerging individual champion with a total of 11 gold medals in the State Swimming Championships 2022 and 2023.

Seven more swimmers represented Odisha in the ongoing National Games in Goa. They are: Anshika Aradhana Sahoo, Anshuman Vashist, Shubhrant Patra, Yajat Gupta, Amiya Kumar Pradhan, Anmol Mohanty and Nabin Sharma.
