Fast improving Odisha tennis player Aradhyaa Verma won back-to-back titles in International Tennis Federation (ITF) junior tournaments in Bangladesh this week. Bhubaneswar girl Aradhyaa emerged singles champion at the 29th Rajshahi International (U-18) Junior Tennis Championships at Advocate Abdus Samad Tennis Complex in Rajshahi today.

Top seed Aradhyaa defeated fellow Indian and seventh seed Angel Patel in the final 6-1, 6-3. Earlier, she beat Saijayani Banerjee (India) 6-2, 6-2 in the semifinals, Anisha Sivakumar (India) 6-3, 6-2 in the quarterfinals and Ga In Lee (Korea) 6-3, 6-0 in the second round.

Aradhyaa earlier won the doubles title with Indian partner Aleena Farid at the 34th Bangladesh World Tennis Tour Junior Tournament (Group-V) at Sheikh Jamal National Tennis Complex in Dhaka November 10. They beat Indian opponents Devanshi Gohil and Angel Patel in the final 6-2, 1-6, 10-8.
