Odisha boy Lalit Tudu emerged champion in the AITA-CDTA Championship Series U-16 Tennis Tournament, which was organized by Cuttack District Tennis Association (CDTA), under the aegis of Odisha Tennis Association at Barabati Stadium, Cuttack from 20 to 23 November 2023.

Second seed Tudu clinched the title, defeating statemate and top seed Saptapurna Jena in the lop-sided final 6-0, 6-0. Earlier in the semifinals, Tudu beat fourth seed Ishan Mishra (Odisha) 6-0, 6-0, while Jena got the better of Veer Banshi Mishra (Bihar) 6-0, 6-0.

The champion and runner-up earned 25 and 20 AITA ranking points respectively. SCRB Director Vinaytosh Mishra presented the trophies at the closing ceremony. Tournament Director Rajani Kant Nayak and Tournament Referee Jatin Batsya were present on the occation.
