As many as nine players from Odisha  represented East Zone Mens Team in the Vizzy Trophy Tournament. The nine players included five from KIIT University, two from Sambalpur University and one each from Utkal University and Ravenshaw University.

The 15-member East Zone team also featured two from Magadh University, Bihar and one each from Burdwan University, West Bengal; Dibrugarh University, Assam; Tripura University, Tripura and Gauhati University, Assam.

The team was led by Maroju Prasanth (KIIT University). Santosh Kumar Jena (KIIT University) and Dr Abinash Kar (Sambalpur University) accompanied the East Zone team as coach and manager respectively.

10 March 2024 2024 (At Amingaon Cricket Ground, Guwahati): West Zone 307/10 in 50 overs (Yash Dabas 94, Niraj Joshi 61, Rohit Khichar 55; Parthasarathi Nayak 3/43, Arkajit Roy 3/48, Shresth Singh 2/59) beat East Zone 112/10 in 33.2 overs (Sujal Singh 20, M Prasanth 19, Parthasarathi Nayak 19; Niraj Joshi 2/10, Rohit Khichar 2/14, NN Thakur 2/31) by 195 runs.

12 March 2024 (At Amingaon Cricket Ground, Guwahati): East Zone 250/9 in 50 overs (Sujal Singh 75, M Prasanth 73, Sourav Gouda 45; M Sushanth Naidu 3/59, G Chanti 3/61) lost to South Zone 251/6 in 48.3 overs (Gowrisankar J 69*, Sujith G 59, M Pratyush 41; Gourav Kumar 3/55) by 4 wickets.

14 March 2024 (At ACA Stadium, Guwahati): North Zone 183/10 in 43.5 overs (Abhishek Kaushal 73; Shibashis Sahoo 4/28, Parthasarathi Nayak 2/35, Shresth Singh 1/18, Sujal Singh 1/18, Nitish Samantaray 1/28) lost to East Zone 184/9 in 47.2 overs (Gaurab Saikia 52, Sujan Singh 37, Shresth Singh 36, Parthasarathi Nayak 26; Aditya Chauhan 3/27, Jamshed Alam 3/30) by 1 wicket.
