Riding on a century each by Aashirwad Swain, Arasada Kishore and Subham Satrujit, Rest of Odisha-C trounced fancied Cuttack-A by six wickets in their super league match of the Kalahandi Cup Senior Men Inter-District Cricket Tournament, held at Sunshine Ground in Cuttack on 8 and 9 June 2024.
Bhubaneswar-A, East Coast Railway and Balasore registered wins in three other matches, held at different grounds in Cuttack. A sparkling knock of 134 by Girija Rout helped the Railway side beat Nayagarh by 92 runs.

A century by captain Shantanu Mishra and hauls of five-wicket each by Suman Das and Swayam S Routray enabled Bhubaneswar-A defeat Bhadrak by two wickets. Balasore capitalised on a half-century by Gurudipan Jena and a four-wicket haul by Shekhar Majhi to edge out Rest of Odisha-D by nine runs.

8-9 June 2024 (Match 6, Sunshine Ground): Cuttack-A 174/10 in 43.4 overs (Soubhagya Mishra 52, Subham Nayak 41*; Milan Samal 3/47, Debabrata Pradhan 3/53, Krishna Palai 2/21, Soubhagya Rout 2/44) lost to Rest of Odisha-C 402/4 in 90 overs (Aashirwad Swain 119*, Arasada Kishore 110, Subham Satrujit 105*; Subham Nayak 2/75) by 6 wickets.
