Odisha Lions emerged champions in the Odisha Cricket League (OCL T20), defeating Odisha Tigers by nine runs in the keenly-contested final at Barabati Stadium in Cuttack today. Prabin Luha hit a 24-ball 43 for Odisha Lions to be adjudged the player of the match.
Football Association of Odisha Secretary Asirbad Behera joined the closing ceremony as chief guest and handed over the trophies. Odisha Cricket Association vice-president Pankaj Lochan Mohanty, secretary Sanjay Behera and Odisha Olympic Association secretary Avijit Paul were present on the occasion.
AWARD WINNERS:
Player of the Final: Prabin Luha, Odisha Lions (Rs 5,000).
Best Bowler: Tarani Sa, Odisha Tigers (Rs 20,000).
Best Batter: Shreyansh Bharadwaj, Odisha Cheetahs (Rs 20,000).
Player of the Tournament: Suryakant Pradhan, Odisha Lions (Rs 30,000).
