Rourkela rode on a century by Snehal Samantaray to crush Nabarangpur by 140 runs in their preliminary league match of the OCA U-19 Mens Inter-District Cricket Tournament at Nimpur Ground in Cuttack today. With his fine knock, Snehal was adjudged as the player of the match.
Khordha, Balasore, Sambalpur, Puri and Keonjhar registered wins in five other matches of the day. Among other notable performer of the day, Smruti Behera (Rourkela), Dharanidhar Swain (Khordha), Varun Nag (Sambalpur), Sarthak Prakash (Keonjhar) and Abhay Kansal (Kandhamal) shone with the bat, scoring a half-century each.
