Odisha bagged a total of six medals, including two on the final day in the 63rd National Open Athletics Championships, which concluded at the Sree Kanteerava Stadium in Bangalore today. The six medals include two gold, two silver and two bronze.
Olympian Srabani Nanda secured one silver medal today in women 200m sprint, clocking 23.83 seconds. This was the second medal for Srabani, who was part of the Odisha women 4x100m relay team that bagged the bronze yesterday.
The other medal for Odisha on the last day was claimed by Susmita Tigga. A trainee of Bhubaneswar-based Odisha Reliance Foundation Athletics High Performance Centre, Susmita won the bronze in women 3,000m steeplechase with a time of 10:43.52.
