Ace Odisha shooter Shriyanka Sadangi boosted her National rankings by securing first position in the women’s 50m rifle 3 position (3P) at the ongoing National Selection Trial No 6 (Group A), conducted by the National Rifle Association of India (NRAI) at the Karni Singh Shooting Range in New Delhi today.
Putting up a dominant performance, Shriyanka won the final with a score of 463.8. Ayushi Podder (Railways) and Vidarsa K Vinod (Kerala) finished second and third with scores of 456.4 and 445.4 respectively.
Earlier in the qualifying stage, Shriyanka also secured the top spot with a total score of 589, which included 197 each in kneeling and prone, and 195 in standing. Ashi Chouksey (Madhya Pradesh) and Manini Kaushik (Rajasthan) claimed the second and third positions respectively in the qualifying round.
