FAO First-Division League (Diamond Group) champions Sunrise Club clinched a double crown by winning the title in the FAO Super Cup Football Tournament at Barabati Stadium in Cuttack today. Sunrise beat Rovers Athletic Club 1-0 in the Super Cup final with Dinabandhu Das scoring the all-important goal in the 30th minute.
Sunrise received cash prizes of Rs 1 lakh each as the champions of the FAO First Division League and the Super Cup, while Super Cup runners-up Rovers Club received Rs 50,000. FAO First Division League Gold Group winners Kishore Club and Silver Group champions Junior Gallant Club were given Rs 75,000 and Rs 50,000 respectively. Top eight teams of FAO First Division League competed in the FAO Super Cup, which was organised by Football Association of Odisha (FAO).

Cuttack Collector Dattatraya Bhausaheb Shinde handed over the trophies at the closing ceremony. FAO vice-presidents Bijay Das, Dillip Sahoo, Birendra Kumar Behera, Sahadev Rout and Md Shahid Jabbar, secretary Asirbad Behera, treasurer Bhakta Ballav Das, joint-secretaries Avijit Paul and Biswa Ranjan Gharei were present on the occasion.

13 Sept 2024 (QF-1): Sunrise Club (Dinabandhu Das 29, 80, Arbin Lakra 34, 47, Jitu Muduli 74, 77) beat Junior Gallant Club (Rohit Badaik 35, Sachin Munda 84) 6-2.
13 Sept 2024 (QF-2): Rovers Club (Kartik Hantal 30, Suresh Khadia 65) beat Odisha Police (Anand Soreng 56) 2-1.
14 Sept 2024 (QF-3): Radharaman Club (Bhabagrahi Padhihary 58, Muhammed Arshad 66, Biki Sethi 73) beat Mangala Club 3-0.
14 Sept 2024 (QF-4): Sports Odisha (Shankha Shekhar Hembram 31, 34) beat Kishore Club 2-0.
16 Sept 2024 (SF-1): Sunrise Club (Naveen Das 13, 48) beat Radharaman Club (Bhabagrahi Padhihary 50) 2-1.
16 Sept 2024 (SF-2): Rovers Club (Abinash Muduli 63-P, Ganesh Naik 73-OG) drew with Sports Odisha (Abhinash Kishan 12, Shankha Shekhar Hembram 79) 2-2. Shootout: Rovers Club (Abinash Muduli, Kartik Hantal, Suresh Khadia, Ramesh Oram, Sunil Khilla) beat Sports Odisha (Shankha Shekhar Hembram, Ronik Majhi, Belarsen Kanhar) 5-3.
18 Sept 2024 (Final): Sunrise Club (Dinabandhu Das 30) beat Rovers Club 1-0.
