A seven-wicket haul by Amlan Abhishek and a half-century by Suvam Sahoo powered Kandhamal to a five-wicket win over Nuapada in their preliminary league match of the OCA Inter-District School Cricket Tournament at BJB High School Ground in Khordha today.
Khordha bowler Piyush Baliarsingh also captured seven wickets, conceding 22 runs in their 32-run win against Mayurbhanj. Bhubaneswar-B, Keonjhar, Puri and Cuttack-B registered wins in four other matches of the day.
