An incredible haul of four wickets for one run by SB Lorence helped Balasore beat Nabarangpur by 129 runs in a league match of the OCA Women Inter-District T20 Cricket Tournament at Ravenshaw University Ground in Cuttack today. Anjali Singh and Sarojini Giri were two other notable performers for Balasore, each scoring an unbeaten half-century.

Bhubaneswar and KIIT posted wins in two other matches of the day. Bhubaneswar rode on a four-wicket haul by GM Alakananda to crush Boudh by 10 wickets, while KIIT prevailed over Jagatsinghpur by 16 runs.

27 July 2024 (Match 14, Bidanasi Ground): Boudh 27/7 in 20 overs (GM Alakananda 4/2) lost to Bhubaneswar 28/0 in 4.4 overs (Priyankari Muduli 12*) by 10 wickets. PoM: GM Alakananda.
