  Inter-Dist School Cricket: Bhubaneswar teams make mery

Bhubaneswar-B and Bhubaneswar-A teams posted emphatic wins in respective super league matches of the OCA Inter-District School Cricket Tournament in Cuttack today. Bhubaneswar-B rode on a century by Aditya Pradhan and five-wicket haul by Slok Sankalp to trounce Cuttack-B by 148 runs.

Prantik Nayak hit an unbeaten 72 and Mrutyunjay Ray captured four wickets to power Bhubaneswar-A to a 179-run win over Cuttack-A. Rest of Odisha-A beat Jharsuguda by nine wickets and Rest of Odisha-B defeated Rourkela by two wickets in two other matches of the day.

3 Nov 2024 (Match 1, Sunshine Ground, Cuttack): Bhubaneswar-B 200/10 in 44.5 overs (Aditya Pradhan 112; Rohit Pal 3/41, Anmol Patnaik 2/21) beat Cuttack-B 52/10 in 27.3 overs (Slok Sankalp 5/10, Priyansu Das 3/8) by 148 runs. PoM: Slok Sankalp.

3 Nov 2024 (Match 2, Bidanasi Ground, Cuttack): Jharsuguda 78/10 in 36.3 overs (Suraj Jaiswal 20; Debasish Ray 4/18, Piyush Baliarsingh 3/23) lost to Rest of Odisha-A 82/1 in 12.1 overs (Suvam Sahoo 35, Adarsh Kumar 21*) by 9 wickets. PoM: Debasish Ray.

3 Nov 2024 (Match 3, DRIEMS Ground, Tangi): Bhubaneswar-A 232/5 in 50 overs (Prantik Nayak 72*, Swagat Mishra 34; Satyajit Sahoo 3/43) beat Cuttack-A 53/10 in 21.5 overs (Mrutyunjay Ray 4/1, Dharmaditya Swarnakar 3/15) by 179 runs. PoM: Prantik Nayak.

3 Nov 2024 (Match 4, Ravenshaw Ground-1, Cuttack): Rourkela 135/10 in 43 overs (Bishnu Behuria 36, Sk Rehan Ali 26; Sachidananda Sandha 3/34, Sekh Tanveer 2/19) lost to Rest of Odisha-B 137/8 in 47.5 overs (Ayush Mishra 36*, Aniket Dhir 29; Koustik Mohanty 3/28, Aryan Pal 2/34) by 2 wickets.
