Harshitaa Rout (Khordha) and Kalaga Jagadeesh (Bhubaneswar-Khordha) won the women and men singles titles respectively in the OSBA Odisha State Senior Badminton Championship, which was held at Niladri Vihar, Bhubaneswar from 2 to 4 November 2024.

An international medallist, Harshitaa also clinched a double crown by emerging mixed doubles champion with Tanmaya Kumar Sahu (Angul) as her partner. The men doubles title was captured by Abhijit Maharana and DBS Chandra Kumar (Bhubaneswar-Khordha). There was no women doubles event.

Organised by Odisha State Badminton Association (OSBA), with the support of State Sports & Youth Services Department, the three-day championship carried a total prize fund of Rs 1.15 lakh. Singles champions received Rs 7,000 each and the doubles and mixed-doubles title winners became richer by Rs 9,000.

Men Singles: Kalaga Jagadeesh (Bhubaneswar-Khordha) beat Paras Mathur (Bhubaneswar-Khordha) 21-15, 21-19.

Women Singles: Harshitaa Rout (Khordha) beat Leezun Swain (Sambalpur) 21-6, 21-9.

Men Doubles: Abhijit Maharana & DBS Chandra Kumar (Bhubaneswar-Khordha) beat Anirban Mandal & Paras Mathur (Bhubaneswar-Khordha) 21-10, 21-17.

Mixed Doubles: Tanmaya Kumar Sahu (Angul) & Harshitaa Rout (Khordha) beat Kannuri Murali Krishna & Nishita Mohanty (Khordha) 21-11, 21-11.
