Odisha boys and girls won the gold and silver medal respectively in the 3rd East Zone U-11 Mini National Roll Ball Championship, which was organized by Roll Ball Sports Association of West Bengal at the Institute of Engineering & Management, Salt Lake, Kolkata on 9 and 10 November 2024.

In the boys final, Odisha demolished Assam by 10-0 goals to emerge champions. Odisha captain Seyash Adhikari became the highest scorer in the championship with 38 goals to his name. Odisha girls finished runners-up, losing to Assam in the final by 5-0 goals. Odisha girl Amrita Baral was the top scorer of the tournament, scoring nine goals.

The girls team was led by Sudikshaa Swain. The two Odisha teams, featuring 12 players each, were accompanied by coach Abhijit Swain and manager Sahil Rath. Odisha Roll Ball Association president Dharmaditya Patnaik and secretary Partha Sarathi Jena congratulated both the teams for bagging laurels for the State.
