Odisha junior international Sohini Sanjay Mohanty added one more feather to her cap by emerging girls doubles champion with Maharashtra partner Aishwarya Yadhav in the ITF World Tennis Tour Junior (J60) Tournament, which was held at AATA Complex in Guwahati, Assam from 18 to 23 November 2024.

Top seeds Sohini and Aishwarya clinched the title, defeating second-seeded Indian pair of Mahika Khanna and Kashvi Sunil in the final 6-1, 6-3. The Odisha-Maharashtra duo reached the final, beating Indian opponents Savitha Bhuvaneswaran and Shaivi Gaurav Dalal 6-3, 2-6, 10-1 in the quarterfinals and Indo-US combination of Aradhyaa Verma and Priyanka Rana 6-2, 6-3 in the semifinals.

But in singles, third seed Sohini bowed out in the first round, losing to Savitha Bhuvaneswaran 4-6, 6-3, 6-7 (2). The tournament also featured Odisha junior international Aahan, who reached second round in girls singles and quarterfinals in doubles.
