Sneha Soren, Mina Santa (A) and Sadananda Bariha contributed five medals to the Odisha tally in the IWLF National Youth, Junior & Senior Weightlifting Championship, which is being held at Rainbow International School in Nagrata Bagwan, Himachal Pradesh from 7 October 2024. All five medals were bagged by athletes of Odisha Weightlifting High Performance Centre, Bhubaneswar.
With the addition of the five medals, which included three gold, one silver and one bronze, the total number of medals for Odisha jumped to 11 on the third day of the championship. The 11 medals feature five gold, four silver and two bronze.
