  State Archery Meet: KISS assert supremacy with 11 gold

Bhubaneswar-based Kalinga Institute of Social Sciences (KISS) emerged as the most successful team, bagging 11 out of 29 gold medals in the 25th Odisha State Archery Championship, which concluded at Jujomura in Sambalpur on 12 October 2024.

Among other successful units, Keonjhar secured four gold medals, while host Sambalpur and SAI Sundargarh claimed three each. Dibya Ranjan Munda (KISS) and Mamita Oram (SAI Sundargarh) stole the show on the concluding day, winning two gold medals each in mens Compound and womens Recurve rounds respectively. Manaswari Hasdak, daughter of eminent archery coach Rajesh Hasdak, was another notable achiever for KISS, bagging one gold and one silver in Recurve round.
