Amrutjay Mohanty and Avipsha Dehury emerged mens and womens singles champions respectively in the 11th All-Odisha Utkal Open Tennis Tournament, which was organised by Ace Tennis Club at Kalinga Stadium Complex in Bhubaneswar from 17 to 19 January 2025.

The three-day tournament featured five singles and four doubles events, and carried a total prize fund of Rs 2.88 lakh. Title winners and runners-up in each event received Rs 12,000 and Rs 8,000 respectively. Samay Aagman and Suyash Patnaik won the boys U-12 and U-14 titles respectively, while the girls U-14 crown went to Shazfa Wania Sk.

Amrutjay clinched a double crown, also bagging mens doubles title with Subhranil Barman as his partner. Sasank Sekhar Rath was most successful in senior mens doubles categories, winning both the 50+ and 60+ doubles titles with different partners.

State Sports & Youth Services Department Principal Secretary Bhaskar Jyoti Sarma and Finance Department Principal Secretary Saswat Mishra presented the trophies and cash prizes money in the closing ceremony.

Principal Chief Conservator of Forest Debidutta Biswal, Utkal Builders Ltd Managing Director Sarad Baid, Ace Tennis Club president Prakash Chand Bhura, secretary Navratan Bothra and organizing chairman Dr Bishwajit Mishra were present on the occasion.

Boys U-12 Singles: Samay Aagman bt Suryansh Thatoi 5-4(6), 4-0.
Boys U-14 Singles: Suyash Patnaik bt Saphal Aagman 6-3, 6-2.
Girls U-14 Singles: Shazfa Wania Sk bt Sanrachana Das 6-2 (Rtd).
Mens Singles: Amrutjay Mohanty bt Anshuman Singh by 6-0, 6-1.
Womens Singles: Avipsha Dehury bt Prarthana Mondal 6-4, 6-2.
Mens Doubles: Amrutjay Mohanty & Subhranil Barman bt Ansu Bhuyan & Chinmay Pradhan 6-2, 6-2.
Senior Mens 40+ Doubles: Satirtha Patnaik & Dayal Ganguar bt Vivek Tibarewal & Saswat Jena 7-6(3), 6-4.
Senior Mens 50+ Doubles: Snehasis Behera & Sasank Sekhar Rath bt Saswat Jena & Biswajit Mishra 9-3.
Senior Mens 60+ Doubles: Sasank Sekhar Rath & Sanjay Sahu bt Ajay Mahapatra & Ajoy Sahu 9-7.
