Odisha bagged nine medals in the KIO 1st Federation Cup Premier League & Youth League Karate Championship, which was organized by Karate India Organisation at Talkatora Indoor Stadium in New Delhi from 19 to 23 November 2024. The nine medals include three gold, two silver and four bronze.

According to media reports, Ritesh Mohanty (male below 55kg fight), Monali Sahoo (female below 68kg fight) and Arya Banshika (cadet female individual kata) won one gold medal each. The two silver medal winners were: Bratati Biswaprabha Pati (female below 50kg fight) and Rajesh Mohapatra (male below 75kg).

The four bronze medals were claimed by Sindhu Tanaya Khuntia (female below 45kg fight), Arya Banshika (female below 61kg fight), Om Satyam Mohanty (cadet male below 45kg fight) and Trinath Rana (male below 67kg fight). A 15-member squad represented Odisha in this championship.
